So, what affects SODA more, Mideast situation or the potential competition issues?
When the market opened this morning it was pretty clear that the Syrian war issue was over, but the GMCR presentation was just beginning. We got about a half buck out of the delay for the war, but later we got a few bucks as it became clear that GMCR threat was bogus. Think about it, the longer they wait the less chance of success as SODA establishes itself across the entire planet.
I'm somewhat surprised that shorts put so much stock in the potential competition. You'd think they'd be smart enough to have recognized the obstacles to getting in this business. I guess GMCR's Obama like mouth and then the reality setting in reinforces that obstacle in many short's minds.
Too bad GMCR didn't do their presentation yesterday so that we could have had absolute confirmation of the impact of the two issues.
