I went to a Best Buy in Delaware and asked about buying a soda caps machine. I don't want to buy a machine that won't work in a year or so. The sales person told me that soda caps wasn't working out and to just buy a machine right now. I didn't. Then I talked to the manager and asked him, he said that he didn't know about soda caps and to call soda stream or post a message on this board since the mid-atlantic regional manager frequently posts here. So,
When is soda caps coming out?
Is there a problem with the soda caps roll out?
What machine should I buy?
Also there was no CO2 in the store I went in, I was told the nearest store with CO2 in stock was 17 miles away- makes me wonder about getting stuck with the product again.
Also, should I buy this stock just before the soda caps roll out? Will soda stream's sales drop off as soda caps nears since no one is going to buy an old machine that doesn't work anymore?
Thanks in advance.
Glad that I left my money in Mastercard and avoided this mess. Thank you all for being rude and ignorant back in September when I posted asking questions.
You will all be happy to know that I got a Sodastream as a gift. It came with what will probably be at least a years worth of foul tasting soda and coupons to purchase CO2 which I won't bother with. It is interesting to read the delusions on this board that great Christmas Sodastream Give Away is some master plan and the stock is going to come roaring back soon. The machine came with so much product, the people who got them won't need to buy much of anything for a long time.
I usually don't like to see people lose money, but it couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch. Not only did you slide back into the $30s, but you have lost 2 to 3 years of profits that could have been had in almost any stock.
Keep up the good work!
I think your brain just fizzed out; you don't need to go to a Best Buy 17 miles away to get another CO2 tank, just go to Walmart, they have plenty, and its probably across the street. Or Target, or bed bath and beyond, or any of the other 100s of vendors that SODA has a CO2 agreement with. They are all over these days. Best Buy is soooo 20th century....
