I think analysts and others have fallen asleep at the wheel on SODA's 47 countries of distribution. On this board, we chat US sales only. I think we'll be very pleasantly surprised on Wednesday. Let's not forget there is a whole world out and there, and much of it already loves to make their own SODA.
You make a good point as I can validate the concern and have often benefited from my peers'...dismissal of international markets based on "lack of visability". However, since 2012, we have established relationships with other analysts to share certain information that doesn't conflict with our clients' wishes. Our strongest relationships are with Oppenheimer and J.P. Morgan Chase for SODA and NOK. Our analyst who covered NOK is a very bright gentleman, Jonathon Muller. His articles can be viewed on Seeking Alpha as well.
Freebee coming at you beauty90210211: SodaStream signed a deal with Powercity in Ireland in Q3. Not a huge chain with 9 locations, but just to show you that we have boots on the ground pretty much wherever you can imagine.
I agree with the exception of Seth and Capital Ladders. All their official reports discuss international markets. I have seen Oppenheimer and Stifel Nicolaus reports and they have no clue about other markets. It's sad to see how inept some analysts can be. Seth, I'm waiting. No rush I'm sure will be strong report as usual.
