It's not a good long term short. If you look over the charts, unless you shorted in a very small window a couple years ago, most likely you are down. Those who shorted recently may also be up, but again the trend is up and my guess is we have probably already seen a new bottom. So, from about here, being short makes little sense, IMO.
Whether the bounce back will be quick or slow, it will come back to the 60s relatively soon. The next squeeze is probably already underway. Those who maintain short positions or continue to play the short side might already be disappointed. I think they thought any miss would cut the price in half rapidly. Instead, other than themselves, nobody else seems to want to sell.
Seth- Not cool in my book. You keep saying how this is a great long term investment, yet we're not going to 60 anytime soon? Not appreciating the games and veiled mixed messages. Are you an analyst with a real opinion or a day trader?
