Fidelity IS still holding onto millions of shares:)
Obviously, their opinion of the upside is vastly different from other analysts.
They also control most of the money in retirement funds; which means when
they move to accumulate more shares, these short articles won't put a dent in the price.
They own 2.3678M as of Sep 30th. They file their position 45 days after each quarter ends. We won't know how institutions have positioned themselves until Feb 15th or so. Fidelity did sell 377k shares during Q3, though. The top 20 holders of SODA (as of Sep 30th) held roughly 75% of the shares outstanding and 14 were net buyers with 6 net sellers. I think Seth has already touched on the institutional holdings around 90%.
