“Bevyz has confirmed to just-drinks that its Fresh Machine home carbonation unit will launch in the US in May.
The Malta-headquartered, privately-owned company, which has partnered with PepsiCo, is set to showcase the machine at the International Home & Housewares Show in Chicago this weekend, a spokesperson for Bevyz told just-drinks late yesterday (10 March).
PepsiCo also confirmed yesterday that it has setup an unspecified partnership with Bevyz for the unit.”
According to the Bevyz website they have current job openings in the New York area for a General Manager, a Global Marketing Manager, and an Ecommerce Business Manager.
You'd think if they were planning to launch in the US in May they would have had those key roles filled a long time ago.
Something tells me these guys are going to have a difficult time making an impact in the US market.
Even their partnership with PepsiCo doesn't make a lot of sense. There is no Press Release that I could find announcing the partnership. The only news I can find is an "exclusive" on the Just-Drinks website. Even PEP's CEO didn't mention them during her recent CC and the Pepsi logo has been on Bevyz's website for a long time.
