The article title was just goofy. I'm a social scientist. Here's what's going on. Fat people who don't take care of
themselves and eat horribly think they can offset an entire lifestyle with a few diet drinks. The artificial sweetener tends to send hunger signals, so they reach for another bag of potato chips. Anecdotally, I'm almost 59, 5' 91/2, 154 lbs. I eat sensibly and work out. I drink diet soda. Next?
Don't you think that might be like linking psycho therapy to suicide? People who go for therapy might be depressed. People who drink diet drinks might have cardio issues. It even said that those who drank diet sodas were more likely to have other issues such as diabetes. Like saying those who go to a therapist are more likely to be neurotic or psychotic.
The headline is really lame.
I saw no mention of Sodastream ingredients.
