What will happen to Soda later this year?

Sodastream is going to recover from a disappointing Q4 and Q1. We should start to see a growth recovery. But the biggest catalyst isn't a mystery at all. "Stay tuned" was what we heard from Pepsi's CEO. We also heard her say more recently she was going to work with all home soda makers. So, Pepsi will have syrups packaged for Soda. When? Do you think Pepsi will let Coke/GMCR be first to market?

Starbucks is rolling out their new custom crafted sodas. It won't be long before they are linked with Sodastream.

Sodastream's most important move is getting the factory out of disputed territory so that the big players can avoid controversy.

The stock may be flat or down for a while. I will add on dips. Best of luck.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • 1. Sodastream is going to recover from a disappointing Q4 and Q1. We should start to see a growth recovery. (My humble opinion, true)

      2. Starbucks is rolling out their new custom crafted sodas. It won't be long before they are linked with Sodastream. (My humble opinion, false, but wouldn't mind being wrong)

      3. Sodastream's most important move is getting the factory out of disputed territory so that the big players can avoid controversy. (My humble expertise, half true. SodaStream will not be eliminating the factory in the disputed territory simply because the new factory is/will be operational. There is no controversy over the issue related to the business or future business and/or partnerships other than what the media enjoys depicting. SodaStream has inked more than a half dozen deals under its current operations, several new partnerships to be announced under current origins of operation and will continue to do so with dual origins of operation and manufacturing.

Stay tunded to Beverage Digest conference on June 23rd which will feature, and for the first time ever, Daniel Birnbaum speaking to the audience. Also speaking will be Wakerfern COO and Pepsico CEO Amercias Beverages. Wakerfern already has an extensive distribution deal with SodaStream outside the U.S. and owns Shop Rite stores in the North Atlantic region of the U.S.
