    Yacht Sponsorship?!?!?!

Does anyone know how much money ARG is spending
to sonsor Dennis Connor's America's Cup campaign
(Stars & Stripes)?? What are they thinking?? This does
confirm. . . . their management is NUTS!!

    Any info
would be greatly appreciated! By the way, Stars &
Stripes is just about out of the competition. Nice way to
    waste money!

    • and yet, the employees at some branches are told they will have to pay for their own water coolers because the company can't afford it.

    • for 2 a.m. so I can see what my profit sharing looks like on that sailboat.

      • For those of us who read the internal Airgas
bulletin, there's a loud message between the lines. While
heads roll and budgets tighten at the local level in
our attempt to improve earnings, Radnor is crowing
        about Prince Peter's company-funded sailing
adventure.... and trying to sell it as a valuable promotional
tool for our business. Either Peter and his cronies
really think we are all fools and will cheer the
adventures of Bowtie Down Under, or simply don't care what
        we think.

We in the field have had to stop
buying things like gimme caps and calendars for
customers in order to save money. All so we could buy the
CEO a sailboat cruise for Christmas.

        You
don't have to go halfway around the world to be out of
touch with the associates and stockholders, but it's as
good a place as any to prove the point.

    • You have to get the "Whole" picture. Whats wrong with you all, doen't you know the S & S prize money will pay off BIG.
