    Canuck do you have anything...

Two years ago, when GRIN was in dire straits financially, management put in a good chunk of their own money and bought stock at the going price when nobody else would touch the company ...

Good for them ... the company probably could have gone either way at that time, they could have lost their investment but they tightened the belt and pulled out of it ...happy days ...

Go look at the old financials, read the comments and you will see what I mean ...

Since then, as cobber correctly points out, the two partners have effectively gained solid control through the convertible B shares and the warrants ...

Cobber seems to think this is horrible and an affront to the small shareholder and he has a valid argument ... conversely, I have no problem with it, the partners put a heck of a lot of their own high risk money in here when nobody else would and they are entitled to the reward if it comes ...

I wouldn't give much credence to either his rantings or to my rantings ... what is done is done, shareholders and potential shareholders should be aware of both sides and make their decision ...

    • JC,

      Fair enough.

Now I'm waiting for the "event" horizon to close upon us. A licensing agreement for Harry Potter, Yu Gi Oh or X-Men would be great right now. Just in time for an earnings report citing a return to profitablity.

Two more questions for you Johnny..
One, does GRIN have the licensing for the Two Towers toys in Canada? (I don't see the toys offered on their website)
Two, can we expect some money from the sale of Sababa Toys?

      Thanks
      -Smiley :o)

P.S. - Hey chicken little do you have anything to back up what YOU'RE saying????

      • The company has put out very little on its licensing agreements ...

As far as I can gather, the HP and LOTR associations are still there ... the company long standing relationship with ToyBiz still appears to be solid which includes Spidey, X-Men, etc ...

As for Yu-Gi, in the US it looks like 4-Kids Entertainment has a lock on this but I have no idea who is handling it in Canada ...

Two Towers ..??? I doubt it, we would have heard by now, I think, if there was anything ...

And a return to profitability for GRIN ..??? Gosh, I sure hope so ...
