no position,, but a huge reason there is such a high short position is because of all the bulls who wrote puts contracts as the stock was falling at the same time it was overowned by wallstreet,,
what this means is 'regsho',, the longest were not liquid enough to honor their puts.
anyone trading for a decade and watched this play out years ago with CALM knows this.
something that is always interesting,, nobody was interested in the stock when it was breaking out from $20 and ran to 97,, but once its trashed everyone rushes in to save it. in a week or so you will see the 'short' interest has disappearred'.
anyway,, dd didnt matter when the market was rocketing higher,, so why should it matter when it tanks?
ie,, PRE is $62.60 and has $243cash. my point is you have to do actuall dd and so far i have not seen any real dd anywhere on the net,, i see a lot of traders chasing value stocks into traps.
