Off Wall Street's Mark Roberts orchestrated this
smear campaign after he took a huge short position.
Just do a websearch on Mark Roberts short seller
or read the stories which covered how he initiated this.
Do not be surprised if Diamond countersues after the probe.
Mark Roberts is not an analyst, analysts are supposed to
be impartial. He's a professional short seller and smear
campaign crook. Shorting is one thing but starting false
accusations of illegality is entirely different.
Diamond is well within their rights to pay their walnut
suppliers in the manner they agree between themselves.
It is not fraud to structure payments to growers in a way
that is best for both parties, as agreed.
"Shorting is one thing but starting false
accusations of illegality is entirely different."
Jury is still out; NO ONE on this board knows what is up. Patience.
Do you get freaked out when a well regarded long of a stock you own makes unfounded, but POSITIVE statements about the stock?--just wondering!!!
Hey, did you ever hear back from IR re earnings date, or have you been able to grasp the concept that yes, earnings can be delayed and in DMND's case, earnings WILL BE delayed.
If you have not said that you are short on DMND, I would still believe in your messages on DMND.
Since your opinion is biased, I can not trust it any more.
Good luck to you since both long and short need to make a living.
Walnut growers are not the bad guys... The question is how payments were accounted for and if in fact the momentum payment was for 2010 or 2011 crop. If payment was for 2011 crop, longs have a nice payday coming... Each day that passes without statement has me more convinced otherwise.
You know companies are very cautious to put anything in public without proper investigation. They already stated they will say something after its concluded.. Yes I am banking on that payday. Don't want to be hit like GMCR with their earnings.. Finally recovered from that.
