It is obvious either some big funds want to buy or something is happening with the Audit Committe behind the scenes. Remember this is not a mega cap stock.
Smaller companies have a hard time keeping information secret when everyone seems to be digging for it. I wonder if they found anything.
On top of that is the huge short interest and you get a perfect storm for a big move. 1-2 dollars is not a big move; the big one might be coming soon.
