    Distressed Merchandise

If idiotic posts like this don't signal a bottom, I don't know what will?

One thing that will never be in doubt about Diamond is how hot their products are. One thing they are good at is marketing.

As products approach their expiration date they end up discounted if they are at a Safeway for example or shipped in bulk to discount stores if they are at Whole foods that keeps a certain image level.

Same applies to bread, bakery items and so on...
No big deal, it happens everyday to lots of products.

      Thanks
      Tom

Both of the two Whole Foods I frequent FREQUENTLLY have both Tia & Kettle product on sale. I guess WFM realizes the population in my area is not concerned with it keeping "a certain image level" LOL.

I do check exp dates. The DMND products at the two stores were not close to the dated expiration dates. Like other chip companies, DMND has been aggressive with its pricing; this is a marketing move, not an inventory issue. Could be a margin issue though, LOL.
