I don't know where the bottom is here, but I do well know...

That almonds are a big-deal,...that some of the most prime almond production comes from CA and the USA...that this company signifies "the almond". The world's not planting more almond trees, imo.

    I think they'll figure-out how to turn-around this Co., or some-one will!

Un-like Cramer, I think it's a "buy" at some level, just not sure where yet!

    • Yes almonds are a big deal; I've been eating a few ounces every day for several years (I buy bulk at WFM and reuse an Emerald container).
A quick Google search will confirm that yes, the world (CA) IS planting more almond trees. "California almond growers added 15,000 acres last year, bringing total acreage to an estimated 810,000 acres — a 2 percent increase from 2008’s 795,000 acres." This was a few years ago, but you get the idea.
"After approximately three years of growth an almond tree begins to produce almonds. At age 6 or 7 an almond tree is considered fully mature in its production capability in commercial orchards."

The BIG question I have is will DMND be in the nut business in say three years from now?
It seems that this segment, when using legit accounting, is not such a great business to be in (margins).
