While there are many reasons insiders sell, there is only 1 reason insiders buy
Today there was a form 4 filing showing Alexander Kaganowicz, director, purchased shares today at $7.30 to add to his previous holdings which now total over 130,000 shares. Granted it was only 2,000 shares (even I bought more in the past week) but it is still a very bullish sign considering this was an open market purchase. Insiders only buy stock for one reason, because they fell it is undervalued and expect it to go up. They sell for a variety of reasons, most of which have nothing to do with the prospects of the company IMO.
Spoke with Greg Sottile, director of market development for REFR, today. Had a very nice conversation and left the call feeling even better about my investment. GLTA
I just went through the form 4's for Alex for the year and he has been busy buying all year which is pretty unusual for a small company like REFR. Normally the insiders seem to treat the company shares as their own little ATM taking shares whenever they want without ever buying any on the open market. It seems as though feels very good about the company's prospects. GLTA
I brought him into REFR frorn a mutual friend who connected read the thread and sent me a private message and then contacted someone who still holds a very large position and in the private groups.. That site does attract new buyers who understand the business model and help us lock up the float. Hope some more will join it (the unmoderated one) Only "cyberne" did. He was Alex in 2003. I copied all his links so people can click on them. Same deal he doing now. Funny he never mentioned it here. Interesting. I know some just think I'm rude. I'm just careful and if it quacks like duck....well you know. There's only one person I would never like to see back LUV, he'll know what that means if he ever reads this thread. And they call me a shill.
