    American Super Conductors Product

Anyone who thinks that broad grid scale use of ANY know super conducting material today is feasible for that market is NUTS. Cyrogenic temperatures or even sub zero temperatures for such an application are still rediculous. Specialized small distance applications are about it. Its just not economically feasible to run liquid nitrogen filled pipes every where you need a power cconnection. There is a reason why AMSC went from $40 to $2 the tech doesn't have a lot of uses out side specialized magnets, motors, science, and short run power transfer. Other then AMSC doesn't know how to keep financial books. The day someone invents a broad temp range superconductor roughly centered around STP, the material is ductile, tough, corrosion resistant compare able to AL or CU. Is the day I buy stock in AMSC.

    • The reason it dropped has almost nothing to do with the technical issues you mention, and everything to do with the Sinovel stuff. You think people all of a sudden realized it is a small market and the price dropped 80%??
And obviously RT superconductors will be a great investment, but AMSC isn't even doing research on that area.

      Sentiment: Buy

You would sound much smarter if you knew how to spell or use proper grammar.
Maybe you are Bigfatty, as he can't spell very well.
By the way, what element are you describing with "STP" ?
      Or is it yourself?

      • No, I was helping someone sort through their portfolio, they had this stock, and had bought it much higher. Typically when someone knit picks another's grammar means they have no counter point to the information presented so they have to find some thing else to attempt to discredit the information. I surmise that since you do not know what standard temperature and pressure is, you have no technical clue as to the world of superconductors. Perhaps you should look at owning socks of companies with products and business you understand. As for AMSC, unless voyager 1 discovers a 9th planet with unobtainium on it then AMSC will probably visit Atari SA or ENRON.

At the begging of each quarter, especially at a new fiscal year, FUNDS CLEAN HOUSE... they pay people a wage like squeeze tracker to manipulate the press, post articles (motley fool, seeking alpha, MarketWatch, thestreet...ect) post on forums, bulletin boards in their interests. If you had 100 millions tied up in stocks, you would use every trick you has to manipulate things in your interest. Just how the game is played. One of the main rules to trading that they teach budding new fund managers is, "there is a new retail sucker putting his money in the market every minute".
