Interesting. The article says, "In plain English, this means that best case scenario all new CTL plants are accompanied by CO2 sequestration facilities you come out with a fuel that's barely better on greenhouse-gas emissions [11%] than gasoline."

Great spin ..... written like that's a negative. How about a tweaked version .....

Dooper, you're the king of the spin doctors. I think "tweak" is the most used word in your vocabulary.

<<ctl... is produced at lower cost domestically>> is one hell of a tweak. How can you make this outlandish claim when rtk is so far looking at spending $45 million on a 10 bpd facility. Hello?

No more tweaks, they are starting to hurt.

      P.S.

The earth is not static, it is always moving below the surface. Not only is dumping garbage into the atmosphere a bad idea, it is also the same for burying it in the ground.

I would bet that if Hunt farted, you would say it smelled sweet.

    • Let's see, CO2 sequestration is barely more than a theoretical
possibility at this point ... hmm

      • CO2 sequestration, via EOR, has been done for 30 years in Texas and quite a few years in Canada using CO2 piped north from Beulah, North Dakota. Anadarko takes natural CO2 from wells in SW Wyoming and does EOR also in eastern WY. Only the "Greens", anxious to keep their donations rolling in, are wearing blinders and claiming CO2 sequestration isn't practical or proven. They think they're doing this country and the world a favor when, in fact, they are delaying progress on clean energy development that the world desperately needs.
