RTTNews.com) - Rentech Inc. (RTK) posted a wider first-quarter consolidated net loss attributable to the company of $8.5 million or $0.04 per share compared with last year's $5.5 million or $0.02 per share loss.
Revenues for the latest quarter were $63.07 million, higher than $43.01 million in the prior-year quarter. Revenues were derived almost entirely from sales of nitrogen fertilizer products, whose sales prices were higher due to low levels of grain and fertilizer inventories and expectations of higher corn acreage in 2012, Rentech added.
Does this surprise anybody ?
No matter how much money they are making on fertilizers it just can not keep up with the multi million expenses related to the salaries, bonuses benefit expenses what the outrageously high # of executives are sucking away from shareholders. This guys have more executives than a fortune 500 company.

20 high paid bozos to do the job what easily could be done by 4-5 responsible and hard working people !!
Appears that there are more chiefs than Indians at RTK !!
They have a high paid director or president of a kind for every 13.5 employees.
The only one is missing from the list is a director for the janitor DPT to hand out toilet papers.
Here it goes the profits they are making on the fertilizers. It goes in to the pockets to a bunch of thieves for getting paid just to fill in some empty chairs !!
We here at Rentech, have been somewhat disappointed by you, the shareholders, and your lack of action in purchasing enough stock in our company to drive up the stock price allowing us a premium on our free shares. So with that in mind, we had to find an alternative way to maximize our profit. That came thru the sale of RNF stock. We found that we could reward ourselves with free shares in RNF(for all our hard work) while allowing us to gain capital to purchase stock (from time to time)in the parent company Rentech!
This has given us the ability to time out our personal sale of free Rentech stock with the companies repurchase of stock in Rentech at a predetermined stock price by us!
**GENIS**
That was some pretty intense thinking stuff. No wonder we reward ourselves so well.
Looking forward to not seeing you at the next annual meeting!
Long term MORON shows up every once in awhile to trash the company.
Guy qualifies as creep!!!
By George, looks like U found the answer as to why this stock is so cheaply priced!!!
E-mail to IR pronto.

This how they gonna cut costs ? Never gonna happened with this guys unless somebody gonna step in and hand out pink slips left & right.
The all culture of the company needs to change in order to have a management team who is on our side as shareholders.
