Barron's says CTXS will benefit from Hurricane (Disaster Recovery & Remote Access)

    From Today's article:

    _____________________--

...”In crises or events such as a hurricane, demand for remote access and disaster recovery solutions tends to increase as companies seek to provide network access to a dislocated workforce and the importance of formal disaster recovery become paramount for maintaining business continuity. In our universe, Citrix Systems (CTXS) (rated at Buy, $78 price target) is a principal beneficiary. Citrix, which is on a December quarter-end and should see minimal sales disruptions, provides a number of products that address remote access, business continuity and disaster recovery. These include GoToMyPC and GoToMeeting, low-price-point SAAS products that enable remote users to securely access PCs or conduct online meetings. These products typically see a spike in bookings during periods of employee dislocation. In addition, both XenApp and XenDesktop enable corporations to deliver corporate desktops to end-users by connecting them to centralized desktops running in remote datacenters. While the hurricane is not likely to have an immediate impact on new license sales, we believe its impact on disaster recovery could help facilitate sales cycles and deal flow into year-end.
