I have traded mid caps for the past 12 yrs and have had some success. Somx a small small cap trades unlike anything I have ever traded before. I thought it had value at 4.70 with downsideof only a buck. Added again at 3.70 and was shocked to see it puke to below 3.00. Added a small amount at 2.70 and now am shocked to see it fly all the way back to 3.80 (40+%) on no news.
I'm not a big believer in market manupilation but this company certainly not trading on fundamentals. Are most of the traders on this board trading of techinicals or some other indicator to help make trading decisions?
Let me see, your first SOMX post was July 8th (with a total posting history established not much prior to that) and now you're an expert on what constitutes a "small pharmaceutical company"? Lol! Take a hike, newbie . . . you aren't cluing anybody into anything (that hasn't been hashed, re-hashed, belabored and beaten like a dead horse) . . . especially those of us who have been here pre-approval AND understand the business, the sector and the market promise. Oh, and Yes . . . turns out I have been in a doctor's office before, but I'll leave you guessing as to what extent.
Welcome to the "set your watch" behaviors for virtually ALL emerging biotechs caught in the chasm between FDA approval and distribution. Spend some time researching the various trading patterns for all those that have been taken from micro-cap to either buyout or well into the ranks of mid-cap status (a point where you admit you have safely avoided the fireworks, mayhem and carnage) . . . and fortify your spine . . . this sector can (ironically) take years off your lifespan. This isn't for the faint-hearted or naive. Good luck!
This mistake people make is trying to trade SOMX. SOMX is an investment. Buy your position. Then place a sell order your shares as high as your broker allows. Then sit on the investment until we're over $10. Then start thinking about selling. I won't be selling this security until its well over $12.
This is a bio stock and if you think this is an investment you better look again.
Most bios don't make it, forget about DNDN the the few that did, 98% do not...having said that, they are great money makers if you can catch the swings, just don't fall in love with them you'll get burned...SOMX is one good example.
