You're beginning to make me think you are not smart enough to be considered a nitwit, that maybe your foolish and clueless behavior up to now does in fact reflect a trace of retardation. In fairness, I will reserve judgment for a little while longer. I'm rooting for you to prove to me that you are just a run-of-the-mill nitwit, not something far sadder like an imbecile.
I would say that there is a great chance some companies would make offers, however I don't think they have much of a chance of going through. I know that management is in this for the long haul, and the same with the board of directors and several other large shareholders. I think the deal would have to be larger than is likely to be offered to be successful.
The good news for all of us who believe Cytori is one of the great opportunties of a lifetime is that we don't currently have the metrics that the M & A guys at the big pharma/healthcare companies are looking for. We will in a few years when the stock is much, much higher, and while it might seem perverse, the M& A guys will be much more comfortable doing a deal at that time at a much higher price. It's called job protection. On the other hand, the guys down the hall doing joint ventures/strategic partnerships have a different set of guidelines and a different mandate. They can gamble a little more on the future without losing their job, and we fit right now with those boys.
