I never asked this before, perhaps you or someone else knows. If we must test the 3m rods, why did we bother testing 1m rods? Also, does "full bundle" assembly testing mean prior testing was only with single rods, or a small number?
It's just that Seth seemed to differentiate a "full bundle" of rods undergoing testing, vs. just rods. I guess the test reactor just happened to be smaller, and we tested on what was available to us, since testing on a real reactor might not have been wise in case of damage/unforeseen results, etc?
