There is another sky,
Ever serene and fair,
And there is another sunshine,
Though it be darkness there;
Never mind faded forests, Austin,
Never mind silent fields -
Here is a little forest,
Whose leaf is ever green;
Here is a brighter garden,
Where not a frost has been;
In its unfading flowers
I hear the bright bee hum:
Prithee, my brother,
Into my garden come!
What though the radiance
which was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass,
of glory in the flower,
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind;
In the primal sympathy
Which having been must ever be;
In the soothing thoughts that spring
Out of human suffering;
In the faith that looks through death,
In years that bring the philosophic mind
Come back my Bonny Swan Maiden,
Seduce me with ruffled plume.
Love was so fresh and full of fragrance,
As a rosebud in morning bloom.
Was it real or was I dreaming,
Or just drunk from her bouquet.
Parted blossoms wilt in the afterglow,
Of much brighter yesterdays.
In her wake lies lost perfection,
Like a poetic petal without a pleat,
Etched in the echoes of I Love You,
Cries a Swan Song bittersweet.
We will visit El Yunque Rainforest. they have a zipline but it might take some persuading to get my grandson to try it. We know we have arrived to our home away from home when we sit on the balcony of our 2 bedroom suite at night and sip umbrella drinks and are serenaded by the coqui frogs. They sound like their name. We will also kayak in the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo. The Dinoflagallates sparkle a beautiful blue as you paddle around the moonlit mangroves.
Here is what went down when I disclosed this information to froggy last year.
In his twisted b&d/s&m toadbrain all that registered was paddle/man-groove/and flagellate.
Next thing I know he was going on about gay biker bars and his leather leggings with that easy access flap in the back. Just picture Nathan Lane in Birdcage...Froggy's twin.
Lola you are a good influence on Super. He posted a poem...Have Mercy.
