and the Cap/Placebo group went 7.5 months? Is this the 3 week advantage, if so it's not over yet in Europe,Japan,China or Korea just because of the superhuman Placebo group.
It went long enough so they could unload that atm. Kerx probably was clicking sell sell sell just as fast as they could.
Than miralculously on a Monday at 7am the trial became visible? Yea ok.
Was Peri+1000mg CAP used in Ph I/II? Why didn't they use Peri+825mg CAP and 1000mg CAP since Ph 2's large advantage came from that CAP dosage, if they felt had to show advantage over larger CAP dosage?
I know CEO's make a very nice salary..... more than a millwright, but I think it is possible especially if you have other interest to pursue, and whats 20 mil to big pharma to save many times more.
During the Keryx 4Q conference call in March, I remember Bentsur stating that 2 mos. OS benefit was not the only way Perifosine could get approved. He said it could also be approved based on response rate, even if the 2 mos. was not met. I wonder why he mentioned that then, and why he is not talking about it now.
Exactly, there's a lot Bentsur is doing that has people shaking their heads, from announcing 3/4 way through Phase III that he wants to sell his company, not announcing 360 event has happened, not giving the Cap/Peri OS yesterday, saying they may cancel MM trial (knee jerk reaction) etc...
To put it simple, I guess the long median OS for both arms were due to the way of patients selection (not true FU5 as ONXX/Bayer) and no advantage due to Peri not working so well with 1000mg?
If Cap/Peri went 8 months 1 week that's still better than ONXX's crc drug isn't it. I'm still not 100% convinced that there's no place for Peri in cancer treatment.
Bentsur, what a class act
