Nobody blames you for leaving... of course the security of our families are the most important consideration when making career moves.
However, you should know that efforts were made to keep you (and at least one offer was made, I believe). Accepting your resignation was indeed a tough one!!!
You were a team (key) player and we will miss you very much!!!!
I have just left this week after several years in the field. I was always told I was a key player , but it seems that no effort was made to keep me. I enjoyed EG and there are very many talented people within the organazation which have kept it going. The accountability seems to be gone and nothing gets done until you scream!
I would have liked to stay, but the bottom line is my family. I look outfor myself! I don't expect any company to look out for me anymore.
I was tiredof all the fighting ,just to do my job and serve my customers. The biigest thing is that the customers are why we are in business! No other reason!
Word has it that at the last employee meeting, the attitude was somber. "EGLS is burning 18M per QTR and has 68M in cash on hand". Taxes not withstanding, looks like EGLS will hit bottom around Q2/2003.
EGSoft has not made any money, EGIP has not made any money, none of the other aquisitions have made money including Nights Technology. The move to Singapore and the laying off of key personnel have spelled disaster for this once great company.
It is worth noting that the CEO and other BOD members have made plenty of money all along. Curt has had to clear over 1M every year for the past 3 years, more salary in one year than many make in a lifetime (see SEC Proxy Statements). All the other careers are now defunct.
Quote "The 'oldtimers' that know what a prober is and maintained the company for so long are now the target of mass political murders". The point and blame game seems in full swing which signals the end from within. When ego's become more important than knowledge, history, and facts, nothing can get done.
Noted this week is the loss of several more key figures in engineering and field service.
There comes a time when you have to bite the bullet and suffer the lose on your income tax forms.
Sell now before it becomes a penny stock.
Well, so it's you! 8-)
Yes...I remember the bonus and awards. Thanks. I have them, to bad my stocks aren't worth anything. In any case, I am off to better places and a better environment where people will care a bit more. SL is going to bring that company down unless management does something.
