    dognasuds please answer this?

    Ok I'll do your DD;

    on page 21 of the 10Q, link provided below,

    "We also receive incentives from the New York Mercantile Exchange and Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. for the volume of OTC transactions we submit to their clearing platforms on behalf of our clients. The incentives are based on a percentage of the total revenues received by the exchange attributable to our volume of transactions submitted to the respective exchanges. We also apply our judgment when making estimates monthly of such incentives based on the volumes of transactions submitted to the respective exchanges and the exchanges' published revenues by type of transaction."

    We know incentives totaled $1,600,000 and change, not to mention those clients that were on ICE, so how does OPBL intend to make up this revenue?

    • It's a win / win situation for both Nymex and Optionable. This sell off amounts to a tremendous buying opportunity for both Nymex and OPBL.

    • Wow, it's a bashing party tonite huh? You guys are so full of shi* it's coming out of your ears. These are some of the most ignorant idiotic posts I've ever seen. And shame on some of the "longs" for buying into them. You guys really are fuc**ng stupid. I've been pretty clear and kept it at a level I thought all on this board could understand, but apparently it's still way over your head. I am officially endorsing the sale of shares by everyone on this board exept for 5 people. You know who you are. Imagine that 5 people out of the whole bunch. You guys really are retarded and should lose your shares, they belong in good hands. Sell sell sell the sooner pussbags like you aren't around the soon this thing mellows out and the sooner I won't hear anymore bashers. BTW anyone paranoid enough to think there's actually something called a paid basher or pumper is verifiably retarded and should have been thrown away at birth. If you're dumb enough to think someone's actually being paid to pump or bash OPBL you're paranoid. Even if that did go on it would happen on boards with more than a couple of dozen poster. Oh yeah I'll give you a million dollars if you'll go and bash a stock. BS. Tell the aliens and bigfoot I said Hi, then do yourself and the world a favor, Kill Yourself.

      • I can't read the bashing side of this thread because I have them on ignore,and I don't want to read them enough to take them off ignore, but I am impressed with the good posts that you guys have countered with. Now, do yourself a favor and use your Ignore User button on the right in one of their messages, and your screen will be cleaned up just like mine. Thanks for all your good work and posts. A key posts was this: "Bashers are not here to help us."

      • Also if you're dumb enough to think some basher really cares about you, you should not be investing. Better yet you should not have let your children sleep over Michael Jackson's house, so I guess your gullible ass has something more pressing to worry about. In no way is anyone just going to come out of nowhere and help you by having you sell your position. Fuc**g Morons...........

      • rite on playa!

        bah...aint nuthin but a peny stok this OPBL gonna drop fasta then a 2 dolla ho you jest wayet an see i tels ya

      I don't read so good, so correct me if I'm wrong. Optionable gets revenue for orders they submit on BEHALF OF THEIR CLIENTS to NMX and ICE. The claim being that after the deal they no longer submit orders to ICE, hence no revenue from ICE. Wouldn't all those orders just get submitted through NMX then? Wouldn't the overall revenue from those incentives continue to flow in at the same rate? So as long as trading volume continues to grow, wouldn't the stream of revenue from incentive programs continue to grow? Is there really any issue here at all?

    • why are you here?

    • "re: The premise that this company agreed to this deal at the expense of revenue is absolutely idiotic..."

      No, the revenues, if all goes according to plan is that rev's will increase. The Question is how long, with out pumping.

      Cat got your tongue?

    • "Does ANYBODY HERE THINK Optionable is going to get "in bed" with a company (in this case, Nymex) at the EXPENSE of LOSING REVENUE?!?!? You think they don't know their business?!?! or cannot count/add/subtract?!?!""

      Initially why not, longterm it will be ok. But define longterm. When the pumpers say we are at $20 in 6 months?

      Also they sold you on the NO DILUTION, carrot stick. Happens all the time. Hey listen next time you'll research deeper, better like a Harvard MBA.

    • "dude you sound like a complete asshole "

      that's not an unusual reaction from someone who now realizes that the pump and dump game got them. Better to find out now, then early April when the company releases their #'s. Witha statement that reads;

      "pursuant to our contract with Nymex ceratin revenues were lost this quarter from our termination of our prior relationship with the Intercontinental Exchange" yada yada yada

      shoot the messenger why don't you

    • Use your common sense! The answer is simple... No need to waste 3 mins looking for url-links.

      NO COMPANY would agreed/get in-bed with another at the expense of REVENUE.

      If they can be so smart to design/implement and successfully deploy OPEX, they CANNOT be so stupid.

      --------------------------------

      LONGS: Don't fall for these games! Bashers CANNOT short this OTC Stock, therefore, they are just pressing for LOWER PPS! They are not here to HELP U.

    • "We also receive incentives from the New York Mercantile Exchange and Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. for the volume of OTC transactions we submit to their clearing platforms on behalf of our clients."

      Based on the above. ICE was paying OPBL to use ICE instead of the NYMEX. There is nothing there or anywhere in the 10Q that shows if OPBL doesnt use ICE they will lose any clients or volume. OPBL will lose its incentive from ICE, but how much that is, we dont know. Based on the combined incentives of $1.6 million combined for 9 months, it probably isnt earth shattering.

    • re: The premise that this company agreed to this deal at the expense of revenue is absolutely idiotic...

      Amazing, isn't it?
