Does anybody have any idea what YMLP will yield after expenses, etc. I'm guessing about %7.5, but I can't seem to find the actual amount anywhere. I was also curious about what the expected dividend growth rate might be with this ETF. YMLP looks pretty interesting.
Yeah, the C-Corp issue and double taxation is a bummer, but other than buying invididual MLPs or ETNs, there is really no way to avoid it. I look at YMLP almost like a substitute for high yield bonds. Collect the 8.5% income and just hold forever. I know the C-Corp status will trim the appreciation by about 38%, but you will not have NAV default decline that you have with high yield bonds. The value of YMLP should slowly increase over the years and the distribution should increase some over the years. I'm looking just at the income that YMLP produces.
I am really interested in YMLP. I think it would be a good buy and hold investment. There would be some volatility, but the dividend should be stable and grow over time. The NAV should also grow over time. I think it will be a much better investment than high yield bonds for income.
