soar! It had a GREAT Q1, and only lowered Q2 forecast by .01 this AH sell-off was a knee jerk reaction, and probably initiated by some MM who wanted to allow his funds to get on board at a lower entry point. Watch this thing move tomorrow....this is cheap at this price. I loaded up on this bargain.
I read the minutes of the earnings call. The CEO seemed quite confident on the business going forward except for Japan where they do a great deal of business. Due to the tsunami they lost sales last quarter and carried over inventory. The CEO, like everyone else, doesn't know what business conditions in Japan will be like going forward.
I can't blame the CEO for tempering estimates for this quarter. Regardless of what happens in Japan, the future looks bright for the long haul. I sold half my position before the close yesterday and will dollar cost average back in.
Are you sure about Crocs lowering THEIR guidance? I know that the number they tossed out is a penney lower than analysts' consensus, but most companies' estimates are usually below analyst' estimates. To onlybe a penney off is quite remarkable. People are making way to much of this number. Step back and look at the total picture. Crocs is showing great strength in its recovery from 32 years ago!
