The point of that thread was simply to remind folks that Simon is always out there watching GGP and unlike the Hedgies, he is committed long term to the retail real estate business.
These Hedgies like to go from investment to investment like an 8 year old on Xmas morning. When they get bored with GGP, and eventually they will, they will be sellers. Perhaps that will be SPG's time. Clearly this is not, and has not been SPG's time.
