Curious to know how many "old timers" are still holding from sub one dollar?

If so.... how long do you plan to hold? Do you have an exit strategy in mind? Thank you in advance.

    • I'm a little late to the reunion...but its nice to see so many names from the GGWPQ days!

Stil holding all my GGP shares as well as #$%$. Love the income. Regrettably sold ~80% of my HHC stock much too early.

      Regardless...we did really well!

    • I have 20,000 shares in my roth IRA... average price 76 cents. Planning to keep for the long term. I did dabble in market timing recently. Sold 10,000 at 23.27, chart started to look to exponential. Figured I would buy shares back after they dropped a bit and invest the difference in something else. I got nervous and lost my patience after it sat a few weeks at 22 something, so I bought back in at 22.80 or so, profiting a measly $3500. Then it dropped more than 10 percent, like I was expecting in the first place... oh well.

      Sentiment: Hold

    • I'm the poor guy that could only afford 30 at the time. Yes THREE ZERO. However, majority of the older timers taught me a lot through the intensive pro and con dialogues exchanges and I gambled with that information and over the course of a year later I had over 300 shares. I sold some of my last purchases to get my funds back + some as a major purchase but still I have my original 30 + over 170 additional remaining.prior to the spinnoff.

The question is when do we get out? I don't know either but seeing how #$%$ is gaining on GGP I've been pondering getting out.

Be that as it may all of us have benefited well especially through the spin-off which made a lot of you richer and made me smile knowing I was in the right place at the right time. Not rich but I like my results.

    • still have some sold most,,,in at 50 cents out at over 20.00

    • Sold most of may shares, but holding onto a few to bequeath to my children, along with the story as to how I was, and always will be,

    • I bought in about 1 month before they filed for BK... so averaged out around $.56/share... Didn't invest as much as I would have liked at the time, but still holding onto 10k shares now. I sold off all the "spin offs" as well... Good tip from a co-worker buddy of mine :)

Incidentally, why do we think it's been dropping for the last couple of weeks?

      Sentiment: Hold

    • lol...bought 180,000 shares averaged at .56 (bought from .85 down to .25) sold whole position at 1.40... still kicking myself everyday.

still here..............have sold only a minor portion. HHC and #$%$ still looking nice.
Bot a good size in GPT as it will soon declare dividend and has solid mgmt

      Sentiment: Hold

    • My weighted average is about $.53, and I sold off the "spin off" shares a while back. Then "gifted" a quarter of my original investment at around $19 to satisfy a philanthropic obligation... Sadly, I have no specific thoughts about how or when to sell the rest...For now it is nice having a +1500% return to look at in the portfolio...

      Sentiment: Hold

    • Hi Pink!

Still here and I plan to hold the remainder of my shares for a long, long time, as a core position. I did sell some very recently, thinning my holdings down to a core position. I own core positions in many other REITs in different REIT sectors as well, but GGP, given its run from the dog days of the spring of 2009, has been the best and therefore occupied a larger percentage of my portfolio than I would have liked. Additionally, there are other significantly higher dividend yields than the current dividend yield of GGP, and I am planning to roll GGP sale proceeds into higher dividend dollars in other companies when we have the next substantial market selloff.

Best of luck to you! And keep posting to let us know you are still involved in GGP.
