I am conflicted on what the insider trading implies. Are many of the insiders trading out because of concern for new management coming in, as a result of a possible takeover by YUM brands, or someone else, or is there genuine concern among insiders for the way the new CEO is changing things within the corporation? Either way, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me that insider trading should be spiking up of late, given the recent upward trend in WEN earnings. I am long in this stock, and have truly enjoyed watching the nearly 80% spike from my purchase price of around $4.90/share several years ago, and I am NOT bailing out at this time, but I understand the concerns expressed over this new change in insider trading direction. Any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.
