  • Thank you very much for your posting. It was very informative. I was checking reports for ACO today and saw in a "Real Money Recap" that ACO has "a history of being promotional." I'm not sure what others got out of that comment. I was looking at the level 2 and saw an abnormal amount of sellers today. Any comments?

      • I think understand what he means. Amcol is very unique in its line of business and has maintained steady 52/wk highs and lows. The "promotional" comment is just his way of saying he is neutral on the matter and many investors find this company interesting.
Today was probably just a down day because of the low volume as opposed to other big % gainers.

      • SR, I thought it might have been due to concern about domestic auto industry, but since stock is OK today, I guess not (I rule out buying on the bad news, the Delphi bankruptcy, because CNBC says the reaction in related stocks is negative today. For "newcomers", domestic foundry business has not been very good for years, but ACO has been gaining market share; also non-auto customers are doing well such as railcar makers (source is ACO).
