Analyst EVA Dimensions rates BOOM a SELL on 4/1. Makes you wonder about the experts as EVA last rating on BOOM was a SELL on 5/8/2010 at 15.95 per share. Has almost doubled since then and they are again rating us a SELL. What kind of gall do these "analysts" have. Standard and Poors at least rates us a BUY at 4 stars. Who to believe. I say do your own due diligence. I think we should be a BUY.
When the price per share appreciates to such an extent an analyst may suggest selling as they can't see much upside remaining. They try to take a dispassionate view and lock in the gain. Personally, I can't possibly see a doubling from here so I am considering selling and preserving my capital. What would be the impetus for further gains from here?
