This article is a crock of feces! I've had twp lasik procedures 30 years ago, and most recently about 4 years ago. It is, despite its detractors a safe and effective eye surgery. If you chose not to have Lasik surgery that is your choice. You can wear glasses or contacts for the rest of your life, and deal with the effects and consequences of eye wear care. Or, you chose Lasik. Do not try to legislate or regulate it for the rest of us however. There is NOTHING inherently unsafe about Lasik, other than the danger of eliminating its use if it is banned.
