fishin dude. smart grid starts some time next year, not in Jan.
Thing usually take longer to unfold, and when it does it will be a gradual roll out. Good chance it won't contribute much next year, certainly in the first half of the year. It is a major catalyst, but empty hype doesn't do anyone any good.
You might be wrong here because the preparatory work for the smart grid project was started a long time ago. So I expect the different projects to go into execution timely. Have a look to this website: xxxx://www.geostar.com.cn/PAS/Grid.shtml
and some time in 2011 this will translate into actual sales as they start rolling out their offering on a seat by seat basis to the utilities. So who the hell knows when the sales will start and at what rate. Early in the year? Mid Year? End of year? How aggresively will they roll it out. Don't get me wroing, the market is large and it will have high high margins, but it doesn't mean a flick will switch at the start of 2011 and sales will flood through the door. They are dealing with large beurocratic organizations, and things usually take longer than expected. I don't see them adding much color on what it will mean during this conf call either. It will just be a reiteration of what they've already siad.
