Here's a possible explanation:
Abbott is trying to work with Health Canada to back off and adjust their Vitaros approval so as to provide Abbott with the best possible product. Why would Abbott launch a product at X price, and then have Bracco launch the same product in September which has TWICE the shelf-life? Everyone would just order from Italy for the extended shelf life.
The fact that it took them till May 10th, likely May 1st to say they didn't see a full launch in 60 days suggests that when they DO get #$%$ resolved, they will likely move very quickly (within 2 months max).. and it seems that they themselves don't know exactly what is up, but based on the woman I spoke with at the clinic in London, she knew in March that the launch would be delayed by a month or so at least.. so maybe June 1st, they resolve everything, July 30th they launch. Who knows? You certainly don't.
