Why does QLogic avoid giving shareholders a small dividend? They have more than enough free cash flow to justify doing this. I do see the stock buyback and don't argue with the value of that.
A large percentage of their cash is overseas. Repatriating it to the U.S. to pay out as a dividend would have negative tax consequences.
