It was expensive when it went over $20. The IPO was at a fair price. They haven't made money yet, are in a risky field and now are spending money and need to have a secondary and injection by Musk. The minute California or NJ/NY changes its incentives programs for Solar installs, they will get hurt further. Customers who are signing up for leases that include the 2.9% annual uplift in price are getting wise to the fact that electric companies (outside of CA) are not doing this - electric prices are flat and even lower over the last couple years from grid providers.
