    so what happens for the years before submission to FDA? Where does the money come from?

    Opexa's drug Tcelna has fast-track status from the Food and Drug Administration because the drug is a T-cell immunotherapy. After what he hopes will be a successful two-year Phase 2 trial, CEO Neil Warma said the drug would go through a two-year Phase 3 trial before Opexa would submit it to the FDA for approval.
