I didn't realize that simpson article is from 2012! the latest articles by furbonacci, tillson, and a new one by simpson, all agree the stock should go much higher with a $4.50 target.
Estimates for the Sep quarter are now down to 2 cents/share from 6 cents since the last earnings announcement.
What struck me while listening to the last conference call is that there was a sense of uneasiness as far as sales go for the remainder of this year. Poor visibility/clarity.
Aside from the company-specific issues, it's well known that most retailers will have a weak Q3/Q4 this year.
Since the company is very quiet aside from the earnings announcements, there really isn't much to go on other than the macro economic situation.
I think the Needham reiteration is grasping for straws and trying to cover their behinds in the face of the weak stock, economy, and sector.
