These are the small cap additions to my portfolio...
I just bought some HAL at 44 last week.
I have previously owned XNG index, UPR, APC, ENE WMB DUK. Would buy them again on a dip.
Devon was on my list of stocks to buy on a dip. I had my opportunity last couple of weeks - Devon is now my 3rd largest holding in natgas E&P stocks.
DVN is not hedged - and it is experiencing increasing production. It is very heavy % of natgas.
According to one analyst - DVN was temporarily depressed by the issuance of a convertible financing.
Arbitraguers bought the bonds and shorted the stock, creating a temporary overhang. The analyst was predicting that this temporary overhang would only last a couple of 2weeks - and we are at the end of this period.
Plus - DVN got a big mention in Barrons this weekend in a feature article, along with BR.
Good luck with BR and DVN. If DVN runs from 49 to 60 - I may rebalance some DVN into BR!
