I would say the chance is good, maybe 75%? The drug has no real safety issues. Has been approved and used elsewhere for many years. It is effective, even if maybe for only a short time, which may be more peculiar to the disease process than to this drug. Why would the FDA give it a 2nd life, if not to seriously consider approval?
Well since the FDA basically RE- INSTATED it ...i would say the chances are fairly good as long as the data
remains strong....THE ORIGINAL VOTE WAS 7-4..............but the pressures of PARK drugs for patients are
increasing greatly.......THE DRUG IS SAFE AND EFFECTIVE ........and no more DELAYS by the FDA to help
these patients is NOW REQUIRED!! .....
