In a speech yesterday, Pres Obama acknowledged that his oft-stated assurance that if you like the health plan you have, you can keep it - didn't tell the whole story.
Here's what he said last evening to his Organizing for Action ObamaCare Summit:
"Now, if you have or had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really like that plan, what we said was you could keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law was passed. So we wrote into the Affordable Care Act you’re grandfathered in on that plan.
"But if the insurance company changes it, then what we're saying is they’ve got to change it to a higher standard. They’ve got to make it better. They’ve got to improve the quality of the plan that they’re selling. That’s part of the promise that we made, too."
"That’s why we went out of our way to make sure that the law allowed for grandfathering, but if we had allowed these old plans to be downgraded or sold to new enrollees once the law had already passed, then we would have broken an even more important promise -- making sure that Americans gain access to health care that doesn’t leave them one illness away from financial ruin."
His comments acknowledge he didn't tell the whole story when he repeatedly promised if you like your plan, you can keep it. There were conditions he never mentioned.
He is a rock with lips and will blame it on someone else....Most likely he will say Bush made me say that 22 times and the other rocks with lips will believe him......LMWAO...

Insurance companies were offering junk insurance that was not a true insurance package. People got false comfort that they have insurance that did not protect them. Their companies are lying to them though, that they can only offer them the most expensive plan, or that they don't have other choices (other insurance plans/companies) and that they are not telling them about the tax credits they get UP FRONT for signing-up for any given plan. Basically, there is an INDUSTRY being made in misinformation.
Who says it's JUNK insurance? Obama?? Whatever happened to personal choice and determining the extent of coverage is balanced and affordable to each of us? Biosec, your comment insults me
and shows your diminished thought process.

Absolutely right, acehole. He became President in tough campaigns, he surely had to know what disgusting creeps the insurance companies and corporations would be and the advantage they would try to take when push came to shove.
