Broke down the sales and came up with $44,635,208 for the first Zumba Fitness in FY'12. This number includes holiday trends, effect of sequels, and historical pricing trends.
Expect Zumba 2 to bring in over $50m in FY'12.
Zumba 1 and Zumba 2 FY'12 numbers combined will beat Zumba 1 FY'11 sales.
Any questions you might have are covered in the research report: http://davianletter.com/content/2011/8/12/zumba-fitness-sales-outlook-fy12
I'd be impressed if Zumba classic is able to hold up sales that well coming into next year. I am here based on what Zumba has proven over this past quarter, which is it has the legs of an African gazelle. I am fairly curious how our conference call plays out and how much we estimates by.
Unfortunately for investors who have been late in the game, this one has already been played out. The Street is no longer interested in how many widgets you can sell, unless it's a real game-changer - ha!
It's funny how you guys have been pumping current figures for Zumba which haven't been doing much for the pps, and now you pump your own frothy forward projections for Zumba 2 lol. I think no matter how big Zumba has been, it's seen as a legacy play and the Street is no longer interested. Investors are now more interested in the social media aspect of gaming, of which Majesco is seen as a johnnie-come-lately. That's why GLUU has been generating more institutional interest even though their numbers are much worse.
