Greenspan Says No Fiddling From the Rooftops on His Birthday!
Markets Poised to Surge Higher on Tuesday! DOW Futures Up on Asian rebound.
Oh more news today: Greenspan has been caught playing his violin in the park for asian doves. Mumbling something with an accent about 1/3 of his hair line receding due to that daygig he had for eighteen years. He's purported to have been indicating double downbow (VV) to finger his pigeon music. I think that he's trying to tell the Fed to lower interest rates in May or he'll keep playing that tune.
Mr. Greenspan took some profit from bonds today and bought DIA---Greenspan's first stock purchase since leaving the Fed. Fed cuts are good for ETFs like DIA. From a 10 dollar savings bond to a 100 dollar stock. He understands 10 US dollars invested appreciating to 100 dollars. (Oh, he paid a civil servant premium of 120 dollars a share, still a good price for a 1200 dollar potential value in ten yers.) He bought his wife some silver shares and roses on his birthday to celebrate his newfound investment freedom. Happy Birthday Mr. G.
Treasury Secretary Paulson will be giving a seminar on ETFs in Tokyo today while Bill Murray sings from his cart along the streets of old Edo. Bill is searching for Scarlet in Lost in Translation II. This time they get it right! She's wearing a pearl so he can recognize her.
