    Secular bull market beginning to fail

    A market trend is a putative tendency of a financial market to move in a particular direction over time.These trends are classified as secular for long time frames, primary for medium time frames, and secondary for short time frames. As the following chart suggests, the three-year secular bull market from the 1st quarter of 2009 is in imminent danger of reversing down out of the linear trend regression channel.
