would not rule out takeover attempt or

Or some attempt by a group to take adm private like cargil. Given the fundamentals of this business and sector for growth it has its attraction. If the world is heading for tough economic times in the near term one of the last things a person or a nation will cut back on is food, this should mean adm is more recession resistant than other stocks/sectors.
Given the fundamentals of continued population growth, sometimes described as the population explosion this is the sector and stock to expect to perform. I also like bg, agu, pot, moo, pho.

    • Admit that adm going private is not too likely mostly because of its size. Who could buy it?
Having said that i am surprised Mr. W. Buffet did not get together with some buddies and take it over. I see he still like insurance companies, and why not they had been very good to him. Thing is in an improving economy people can afford insurance, and while people still need insurance in a weak economy they cant afford it. I would have thought being a long term investor and trend expert Mr. Buffet would have made investemets in the likes of adm or bg.
