One thing I noted from this presentation is that they maintained the release date for the AD test results. Most remember in the last presentation they moved the date back from Oct-Dec 2011 time frame, to a April - June 2012 time frame. The stock then languished, and pulled back.
I also noticed they took out the mice, lol.
I have questions surrounding the Claros device. Is Opko going to go into a distribution partnership with Bristol Meyer's for the device, or is BMS just in on the AD research? When will full scale production start.
Also, can opk fund the production start up with cash on hand, is that 80 or so million enough to get it up and running, or will there be a bond offering, or a secondary?
From the following excerpt from the presentation we see 2012 approval, but I am not sure exactly which tests get approved. I am sure it is not the AD, but then, maybe that one too ?
"Urology / CE Mark Approval in Europe/US Clinical Trial Commenced – US approval in 2012"
2012, AD results, international launch, 2013 US launch? US urology approval in 2012.
Urology panels approval expected this year, what about the blood panels? They did not give a date. Anyone who was there at the presentation, and if that question came up, let us know.
