Rumor has it that a large pharma company is considering offering $580mm in cash for PROLOR. IMHO, if this is true, management will not accept it as they would prefer to participate in the future growth by receiving shares.
I agree they probably wouldn't accept the offer bc they want to participate in future growth of ownership of OPK (and Dr Frost). But, a large pharma offering $580M for Prolor would boost OPK's stock bc it would confirm what a good deal they got. BTW... Where did you hear this rumor?
